Wrong Way

Proverbs 14:12 There is a way which seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death.

Have you ever relied on your gut instinct?  I mean when you come to a fork in the road and have to pick right or left, and you do not know which way to go, so you guess.  If you guess as I good as I do at times, then you probably pick the wrong way.  There is only one right way.  There is only one right path.  Our sinful nature leads us away from the right way, to the wrong path.  Our sinful nature leads us to the broad path, the one heading for destruction.  If God had not intervened for us, by sending His Son, we would be stuck on the wrong path, unable to get off.  By ourselves, we have no hope.

God helps us find our way back to the right way, after we have accepted His Son as our Savior.  God’s way leads to everlasting life in Heaven.  The human way, leads to everlasting life in Hell.  God wants all to be saved, but we must choose to be saved and redirected.  Sadly, a lot of people ignore the warning sign and miss their off the road to destruction.

How about you?  Which path are you on, the narrow or the broad?  Have you ever asked Jesus to save you from your sins?  Jesus came to earth and lived a perfect life.  He died a death to pay the penalty for our sins.  Our sin debt is so great, that we have no hope of every paying back.  But Jesus paid that price.  He will pay off your sin debt, but you need to ask Him to.  He is our only hope.  Pray to Jesus, ask Him to save you.  Ask him to pay your debt and cleanse you from all of your sin.  Trust Him as your only way.

Dear God, I thank you that You lead us the right way.  Thank you for loving me so much that You came and died for me.  You are so amazing!  You are my only hope!  I pray for those who are reading this that do not know You as their Savior.  I pray that You world work in their hearts and draw them close to You.  Make today the day of their Salvation.  Amen.
