Proverbs 13:7 There is one who pretends to be rich, but has nothing; Another pretends to be poor, but has great wealth.
What is the difference between some who pretends to be rich when they are not and somebody who pretends to be poor when they are not? The correct answer is nothing. There is no difference both are a lie. God has given freely to all of us and for us to pretend to be something we are not is wrong. God provides what He provides to us for a reason. We must by faith accept that fact. God has placed where He wants us to be, to accomplish something for His Kingdom.
It is wrong to envious of the rich and the poor. It is just wrong to be envious. Some of the most joyous people in the world, are the people with nothing. Stuff and material do not make us happy, only God can satisfy. It is wrong to live poor and stow away money. God gives to us so that we can share with others. It is all for His glory.
Thank you God that You have me where You have me. I know that You have both a reason and a plan for it. Help me to embrace that and trust You by faith. It does me no good to pretend to be somebody that I am not. Your plan is for my best. Thank you for that. Amen.
