11 For as high as the heavens are above the earth, So great is His lovingkindness toward those who fear Him. 12 As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us.
God’s love and forgiveness span beyond all measurement. His love, is as high as the heavens. His forgiveness knows no ends. If you have accepted Jesus as your Savior, God’s love is so vast and so high. We cannot measure how high the heavens are above the earth. It is more than just space, but it means the deepest space. God’s love for you and me is so great. It is so great, His one and only Son, came and died that you and I might live with Him as adopted children. Jesus loves you so much, He allows us to be fellow heirs in the Kingdom with Him. If you have accepted Jesus, then you are an child of God. If you are child of God, then you are an heir of His.
If you are His child, your sin has been removed as far as the east is from the west. We cannot measure that either. It is an infinite calculation, because it keeps going and going. Your sin is gone. The blood of Jesus has paid for it and it is gone. You are forgiven for all of your past sins, your current sins and sin you might commit in the future. You are forgiven and free from the bondage of sin. Praise God!
If you have not accepted Jesus as your Savior, make today the day. One sin is detestable enough for God to condemn us to an everlasting punishment in Hell. We all deserve this. I deserve this. But God love you so much, that He accepted His Jesus’ death in your place. Jesus never sinned and because of that, He was able to die for our sins. He died and He was buried and He rose again, defeating the power of death. Call out to Him and confess that you are a sinner in need of saving. Ask Him to save you and to forgive you. If you do, He will love and forgive you in immeasurable ways!
Dear God, thank you for loving me and forgiving me. Thank you for sending Jesus, Your Son, to take my place. Thank you that He has defeated death. I pray that anyone reading this who does not know You, will make today the day that they do. Work in their hearts, Father. Open their eyes to see You for who You really are. Amen.
