Let God Be Magnified

Psalm 70:4 Let all who seek You rejoice and be glad in You; And let those who love Your salvation say continually, “Let God be magnified.”

Today is Sunday, The Lord’s Day.  It is the day that Jesus rose from the dead, so it is the day of the week the early church got together and worshiped together.  This is the day that most Christians still gather together to worship with their local church.  When we do that, lets all continually magnify God.

It is good for us to gather with one another and just worship Jesus.  Give Him the praise and adoration He deserves.  Rejoice in His goodness and be glad for who He is.  Be glad and joyful for the grace that is offered to us, paid in full by what Jesus did on the cross.  When we worship Him, we show that we love Him and all that He has done to prove His love to us.  And when we gather with others for worship, we are practicing for what is ahead for all of eternity!

Thank you Lord for saving me, based all on what You did, Jesus and based nothing on what I have done.  I just worship You.  I magnify Your deserving name.  For there is no other name, on heaven or earth which can save us, but Yours alone, Oh Jesus.  Help our time of worship be a time of showing You, how much we love You.  May it be a time of showing You, how much we know we need You.  Thank You!  Amen.
