Keep On

Psalm 13:5 But I have trusted in Your lovingkindness; My heart shall rejoice in Your salvation.

David is once again in despair.  He feels that God is not answering him, that He is hiding from David.  He is begging God to hear him, to come to his aid.  Then He comes to verse 5, where David reaffirms his trust in God’s love and goodness.  He rejoices in the knowledge that God has saved him.  He ends this Psalm, by saying that he will sing God’s praise because God has given bountifully to him.

When you face tough times and it seems like God is not hearing you, keep trusting in Him.  Keep rejoicing in Him.  Keep singing His praises.  Know that God is hearing you.  He has not abandoned you.  Count your blessings and thank God for all that He has done for you.  He has given to us in abundance.  Be thankful for all of the blessings God has given.  He hears you and has your best in mind.  Keep on believing in Him and trusting that He is near.

God is faithful!
